Free Children's Art Classes: A Creative Journey for Young People

About the Program

Arts Award: An inspiring journey that encourages children and young people to explore the arts, discover their potential as artists, build leadership skills, and earn a recognized qualification.

  • Ages: Open to young people aged 7–16.

  • Skills Developed: Creativity, communication, problem-solving, reflective thinking, and confidence.

Arts Award Levels

Participants can achieve an Arts Award in any art form. This program offers five progressive levels:

  • Discover

  • Explore

  • Bronze

  • Silver

  • Gold

Each level helps young people grow and excel in their artistic expression.

Class Details

  • Class Times:

  • Ages 7–12: Thursdays, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

  • Ages 13–16: Thursdays, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

  • Eligibility: Open to all young people not currently in education, employment or training.
